Many small businesses depend on local surrounding cities and suburbs to attract business. It is important to use word combinations that attract the areas from which you draw your customers. For example, if you are a realtor in Greenbelt, Maryland, you may try various combinations such as Greenbelt, Prince George's County, Maryland, D.C., D.C. Metro Area, and other nearby cities with the word "realtor." There are hundreds of combinations to try. You may not show up in a top 10 for "realtor," but you certainly could show up for clients looking for a realtor in their neighborhood.
